Inferno by Dan Brown.

As a fan of Dante Alighieri’s poetry and stories, I obviously found interest in this new book. I’ve heard that Dan Brown is a great writer. Granted, I haven’t read nor seen “The Da Vinci Code” or “Angels & Demons” but I’ve been recommended occasional times and I know about the author due to his growing popularity in the literature department.

Anyway, here’s the dilemma I’m having: I’m very curious and eager to read the book, but should I read the English one (because of its originality) or the Swedish translation (because of my mother tongue)? I’m not only valuing the book’s content but also of its cover, and its Swedish cover (bottom right one) isn’t as spectacular as the English covers. However, I understand the content more in my own mother tongue. I don’t feel like checking a dictionary for every English word that I don’t know. Sure, it’s great practice, but it kinda ruins the reading flow. You see where I’m going?

Please don’t remove the artist’s caption/comment when you reblog a drawing/comic/etc.

I obviously can’t speak for everyone, but in my case the caption is often an addition to the joke, and if you take it away, you take away a part of my comic.
